Now, at the beginning of the 21st century, Yuma can comfortably boast that it has as many broadband Internet options as cities twice its size. Humble Beginnings

In 1996, Digitaldune opened its doors to the public. We offered 33.6k dial-up connections, e-mail services, web services, and domain hosting. The service was well accepted and Digitaldune was quickly becoming known as a "premium" service. 1997 saw a slew of upgrades. Digitaldune became the first provider in town to offer K56Flex 56k dial-up service. In 1998 we became the first provider to offer v.90 service.

Broadband Arrives in Yuma

In 1999, Digitaldune became broadband pioneers in the Yuma area with the introduction of a high speed wireless network. All of the sudden, broadband Internet access became affordable for businesses of any size and even to residential customers.

In July 2000, DSL service became available in Yuma through Digitaldune. Offering unsurpassed stability and fast speeds, DSL immediately took off with a great response. This proved what we've always known: The people of Yuma are ready to support high-speed Internet access.

Digitaldune is wholly owned and operated by Fisher Wireless Services, a 2-way communications company from Arizona to northern California and everywhere in-between. Fisher Wireless is headquartered in Blythe, CA, but Digitaldune is still completely operated out of it's Yuma office. The sound backing of Fisher Wireless ensures that Digitaldune is here to stay.
